Boko Haram Terrorists’ (BHTs) attempt to infiltrate into Maiduguri metropolis Tuesday 11th May, 2021 was successfully repelled by the combined forces of Troops of the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Civilian Joint Task Force.
Security Watch Africa gathered from a reliable source that the invading Terrorists who tried to enter from the Jidari Polo area of the Borno State capital about 5:00pm were inflicted with heavy casualties. Many firearms and ammunitions were equally recovered from the BHTs.
The source added that the Commandant, NSCDC, Borno State Command, Abdullahi Ibrahim led his reinforcement squad of Quick Response and Counter Terrorism to support other Security forces in patrols to reassure citizens of their safety.
