Moving against crime and criminality, Police officials in Plateau State have stormed the residence of a suspected cultist and gang leader of Black Axe Cult Group, Ugoh Snu ‘M’ of Angwan Jarawa.
The gang has been terrorizing Jos North and the environs.
Speaking with a reliable source, Security Watch Africa (SWA) gathered that the DPO Laranto Division, CSP Pam Ishaya, had led a team to storm the residence around 11:45hours of 6th July, 2023, based on intelligence received.
But the suspect escaped to unknown destination through the roof of the house before the team arrived.
Items recovered from the residence included six locally made pistols, ten 7.62mm live ammunition, twenty one cartridges, thirteen 9mm short and two 9mm long.
Others are three mobile phones, five hand bags, two pair of shoes, three different bank ATM cards and other accessories.
SWA also got information that efforts are ongoing to arrest the fleeing suspect and possibly recover other substantial exhibits.
