The Dubai Chief of Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al-Marri, and AIG (Dr) Garba Baba Umar (Vice President INTERPOL for Africa) have met to discuss how to Improve Training, Skills and Effectiveness of African Police Officers.
That took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates when the Dubai Chief of Police received in audience AIG (Dr) Garba Baba Umar at the Dubai Officers Club.
Security Watch Africa (SWA) gathered that the meeting dwelt on Enhancing International Police Cooperation.
A reliable source said “Their agenda focused on training African Police officers to improve their skills and effectiveness.
“They also addressed strategies to combat various crimes with a particular emphasis on tackling cultism activities, including conflicts between groups like Black Axe and its rivals, As well as other criminal vices.
“The meeting aimed to strengthen collaborative efforts in maintaining security and law enforcement across borders.” he stated.
