The Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI), on behalf of the National Executive Committee and the entire membership, has extended warmest felicitations to all Muslim members of AANI and indeed all Nigerians on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
A statement signed by Ambassador Emmanuel Obi Okafor, President, AANI, and made available to Security Watch Africa (SWA), noted that Ramadan has been a period of deep spiritual reflection, devotion, and sacrifice, “reminding us of the virtues of patience, kindness, and self-discipline.
“As we mark this special occasion, I commend you all for your unwavering commitment to the values of peace, unity, and national development, which remain the cornerstone of AANI’s mission, towards a better society.
“I urge all Nigerians to celebrate peacefully, in the spirit of love, tolerance, and mutual respect, while reinforcing our collective resolve to build a more harmonious and prosperous nation.”
This season, the statement said, also presents an opportunity to reflect on the challenges facing Nigeria and renew commitment to being part of the solutions.
“I encourage the government at all levels to continue implementing policies that will positively impact the socioeconomic well-being of our people.
“Sustainable development, security, and good governance are vital to national progress, and as an Association, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that foster these ideals.”
He prayed that the Eid-el-Fitr bring renewed hope, peace, and prosperity to Nigeria.
“I wish all Muslims and Nigerians a joyous and peaceful celebration. Eid Mubarak!” he stated.
