Prophesying peace for Nigeria as the programmes for the 2023 general elections begin, Pastor Chukwuma Nwokocha of the Chukwuma Nwokocha Ministry on Saturday declared that those plotting to cause trouble for Nigeria will be taken away by God.
According to him, God Himself will step into the case of Nigeria and choose the next President, who will rule with peace and the fear of God.
He spoke during the 5th Anniversary of Chukwuma Nwokocha Ministry and his Birthday Thanksgiving in Abuja. Security Watch Africa (SWA) was there.
The 2023 general elections, he said, will be the most peaceful In Nigeria’s history.
The event, which was a celebration of life and the ministry, was attended by widows from the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, orphanage homes and other less privileged persons.
The Chukwuma Nwokocha Ministry cuts across all the religions, as the hall was filled with Christians and Muslims, among other religions.
The various groups at the anniversary themed ‘Kingmaker Anointing’ cut across Nigeria, especially from the East and North, dancing and rendering thanksgiving songs from their zones.
Delivering the Word and Prophesy, Pastor Nwokocha said “Election will soon come. I’m not supporting anybody, whoever God chooses will get there. If their intention is to put us down, they will not get there.
“For 2023 election, God said he will come by Himself into this election, into Nigeria. Heavenly Army will appear before kidnappers, bandits, terrorists and all enemies of Nigeria.
“Those that say Nigeria will not be calm, God will take them away. The power is not in their hands, it’s in our hands. It’s time to change the history of Nigeria. All these prophesies will come to pass.”
Citing Daniel chapter 2, verses 21 to 22, the Pastor said that Almighty God Himself makes kings and will change the time and season of Nigeria.
“He will remove a king and put another king that will better our lives, that will do the will of God and rule us with peace and the fear of God.
“2023 elections will be the most peaceful, and there will not be rigging.
“God told me He will come to Nigeria because of those suffering including widows, and the less privileged. God is the kingmaker and at the appointed time, He will act. It is our turn to smile.” He stated.
Pastor Nwokocha explained that he started the Ministry five years ago in order to touch the lives of the less privileged persons in the country.
“I’m happy with what I’m doing. This is my calling. In this Ministry, we appreciate all the security agencies because when there is war, these people will not run away like politicians who have dual citizenship and will fly out at the sign of trouble,” he said.
He urged Nigerians, in the coming elections, to vote whoever they think will defend them, adding “That throne will not accept anybody that will not better our lives.”
A widow at the ceremony, Liatu Ayuba, whose husband died in active service fighting Boko Haram terrorists and whose child is incapacitated after stepping on a bomb in the North East, spoke with Security Watch Africa.
Liatu Ayuba, who is the Woman Leader for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp, Durumi, Area 1, said “We feel very amazing and very happy with the programme. It is not a surprise to me because this is not the first time that he is helping us and calling us for the programme.
“Several times, we have done programme with him and he is helping us in different ways, with the word of God, food items, and clothing.
“The thing that made me to cry today is seeing the blind school children worshipping God.
“We are saying a big thank you to our daddy. May Almighty God continue to strengthen him, give him the power and the wisdom. We believe that next year, God will choose the best person that we the IDPs will be taken back to our homes,” she stated.
