The Rivers State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has commended its Ondo State counterpart for arresting a suspect found with two human heads.
The Rivers State Public Relations Officer of NDLEA, Emmanuel Ogbumgbada, who made the commendation on behalf of his state command, described the feat as an act of ‘bravery’. According to him, ” Our operatives across the country are well prepared to combat any act of drug related crime and would keep assisting other security agencies to nip crime and criminality in the bud.”
On Sunday, at about 13:10hours, a team of NDLEA operatives from the Ondo State Command Headquarters, in Akure, while on a motorised patrol along Owo – Akure Road, intercepted one ash colour Nissan Sunny Car with registration number KOGI: LKJ 135 BF.
The Ondo State NDLEA Public Relations Officer, Ekechukwu Wilson, who hinted this via a statement said, ” during the search of the vehicle, two human heads concealed in a brown carton inside the boot of the car were recovered.
” The driver of the vehicle, Hassan Saka aka Okete ‘M’ 30yrs was arrested and brought to NDLEA office at Alagbaka, Akure and was subsequently transferred with the two human heads to the Nigeria Police Force, Ondo State Command Headquarters along Igbatoro Akure for further investigation.”
