Towards enlisting police personnel in Delta State, a total of 278 indigenes have been screened between 1st and 5th of February, 2022.
The screening is scheduled to continue on Monday 7th February, 2022.
This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP. Bright Edafe, and made available to Security Watch Africa (SWA).
Giving update on the 2021 physical/credential recruitment screening exercise into the Nigeria Police Force in Delta State, the statement said “The 2021 recruitment exercise for Delta State indigenes has since commenced on 1st February, 2022 at Cenotaph Asaba.
“A total of two hundred and seventy eight (278) applicants have been screened so far as follows: Aniocha North – 11, Aniocha South – 9, Bomadi – 20, Burutu – 24, Ethiope East – 22.
“Ethiope West – 23, Ika North East – 39, Ika South – 31, Isoko North – 17, Isoko South – 13, Ndokwa East – 16, Ndokwa West – 31, Okpe – 11, Oshimili North – 3, Oshimili South – 8.
“The exercise will continue on Monday 7th February, 2022 for Patani, Sapele and Udu LGA’s respectively while applicants from other LGAs who missed their scheduled date can also come for their screening.”
The Commissioner of Police, Delta State, CP. Ari Muhammed Ali, the statement said, wished all the applicants success during the exercise.
The CP also urged “other applicants who are yet to appear for their physical/credential screening to take advantage of the ongoing screening exercise.”
