Following reports of house robberies across Johannesburg North, Gauteng Province, the Police have arrested four suspects for the crime.

It was gathered that the suspects were intercepted by the Police while driving a grey Nissan vehicle.
In a statement for the Office of the Provincial Commissioner of Gauteng, signed by Captain Kay Makhubele, the suspects will soon be arraigned in court.
Makhubele said: “ On Thursday, March 18, operatives embarked on a multi-disciplinary intelligence-driven operation and arrested four suspects in Johannesburg North. The suspects are alleged to be involved in trio crimes that include house robbery, a home-following and housebreaking incidents across the Province.
“ The suspects were traced to a location North of Johannesburg and were driving a grey Nissan when their vehicle was intercepted by Police.
Further investigation linked the suspects positively to several house robberies, home-following and hijacking cases committed in shopping centres across Gauteng at places which include Cradlestone Mall, Westgate Mall, Eastgate Mall, and Midrand.
“ The arrested suspects are expected to appear in the Alexander Magistrates’ Court in due course. ”
